Rock 명반 #5 - Ranking 에 넣는 자체가 좀 미안한 "Pepper 상사의 상심클럽 밴드" by Beatles

Lonely Hearts Club Band인데 제가 예전에 본 일본 잡지에서의 제목이 재미 있어서 옮겨 봅니다. 사실 오늘 점심 시간에 책방에 잠시 들러서 철수 형님의 100대 명반 책을 훑어 봤는데요. 혹시 제가 안 들어 본 album이 있거나 모르는 artist가 있나 하는 궁금증이 있었습니다. 후루룩 보다가 이 album에 대한 것을 읽었습니다. 최초의 concept album이고 당시 Beatles 멤버들이 모두 약(?)에 빠져 있었던 시절이였다네요. "Lucy in the sky with diamonds"라는 노래는 당시 그들이 빠져 있던 LSD라는 마약을 얘기하는 거라는 얘기가 있었답니다. 만약에 아직 안 들어 보셨으면 꼭 들어보시라고 추천해 드리고 싶습니다. Album으로 처음부터 끝까지요. 옆에 CD 파는 곳에 보니까 철수형님 덕분에 추천한 100대 album이 모두 다시 나와 있더군요. 쉽게 구하실 수 있겠더라고요. 안에 있는 노래들이 다 좋지만 저는 별 이유 없이 아래의 노래가 가끔씩 떠오릅니다.

비가 새어들어 오는 구멍을 메꾸고 있다는 "fixing a hole"이라는 노래인데요. 이 노래도 무슨 약과 관련되거나 그런 행동을 얘기하는 걸까요?
