제 두 대의 dream guitar가 나오는 - I'm feeling you by Michelle Branch and Santana

확인할 수는 없지만 제가 바로 아래 얘기한 가수와 이 여자 가수가 아마 비슷한 시기에 히트곡을 내지 않았나 하고 생각하고 있습니다. 연상이 되더라고요. 수천 보 (마일은 너무하고요) 떨어져서 들어도 Santana의 guitar소리는 알아차릴 수 있을 듯합니다. 사실 아주 독특한 tone은 아닌데 이제 다른 사람들은 비슷한 소리로 연주하기가 뭐 할 듯 합니다. 제가 이미 얘기했는지 기억이 좀 가물가물하지만 Santana는 PRS라는 maker의 guitar를 쓰고 있습니다. 예전에는 Gibson SG와 비슷하게 생긴 Yamaha의 무지 무거운 기타를 쓰곤 했죠. 유감스럽게도 저는 구경만 하고 손을 대는 영광은 아직 얻지 못했습니다. 옆의 Michelle의 guitar는 logo도 선명한 Gibson인데 소리가 거의 들리지 않아 안타깝습니다. 이 기타는 몸집이 상당히 큰데 이 아가씨도 아마 몸이 작지는 않은 모양입니다. 제가 몇 번 얘기한 Patty Griffin이 잡는 경우 body가 얼마나 큰 지 보이죠.

오늘 제가 본 책에서 최순우의 "나는 내 것이 아름답다" 라는 책을 인용하고 있는데, 저도 한 구절 갖다가 쓰려고 합니다. '안목 있는 이란 보다 깊고 높게 느끼고, 바로 판단할 수 있는 눈의 소유자라는 뜻을 내포하고 있다.' 인용자도 그런 사람이 되고 싶다고 하고 저도 물론 그런 사람이고 싶습니다.

piano 못 치더라도 이런 피아노는 가졌으면 합니다 - A thousand miles by Vanessa Carlton

제가 전에 여기서 소개했던, 일주일 안에 피아노 죽이게 치게끔 가르쳐 주는 혹은 그런 생각을 가지게 만드는 책을 사신 분이 있으시네요. 네 우리 나라 책들은 별로 안 비싸잖아요. 점심 조금 세게 먹으면 훨씬 돈 많이 쓰게 되죠. 조그만 장소에 살면 짐 되서 나쁘다고 생각들 때도 있지만 그래도 제가 열심히 읽은 책들이 주변에 있으면 저는 참 따뜻한 느낌이 듭니다. 오늘 걸어보니까 이제 따뜻하다는 말을 쓰기 시작해도 되지 않나 하고 느꼈습니다.

이 아가씨 이 노래 이후로는 비교적 조용하네요. 좋은 노래를 냈는데 제가 모를 확률이 더 크고요. 비디오에 나오는 피아노가 아주 멋지다고 생각했습니다. 기타가 줄줄히 서있는데 시간 날 때 마다 악기 싸이트에 들어가서 어 하면서 보고 있는 제 자신이 또 생각나기도 하고요.

여전히 기타 보다는 피아노 자체와 피아노 연주가 훨씬 매력적이라고 생각합니다. 순전히 개인적인 느낌이고요.
