제가 여기서 세 번 정도 얘기했던, 제게는 가장 전설적인 female rock vocalist인 Stevie Nicks에 대해 또 얘기하고 있습니다. 얼마 전에도 지나가다가 라디오에서 앞으로 새 앨범이 나올 거라는 것을 듣고 꼭 사야지 했었습니다. 남자가 여자 목소리 영역 소리 내는 것을 counter-tenor라고 하는 것처럼 여자가 남자 음역을 내는 것을 counter-alto라고 부르는 모양입니다. 이 가수가 거기에 해당한다네요.
반지의 제왕이라는 영화이후로 요정이라든가 엘프라든가 하는 얘기를 여기저기서 듣는데요. Stevie Nicks는 예전부터 그 쪽 fashion을 고수했던 것으로 기억합니다. 제가 좋아하는 가수 사진 등으로 책을 싸서 제 관심을 표시하고 다녔던 적이 한 동안 있었는데, Stevie Nicks 공연할 때의 사진으로도 과외에서 배우는 책을 장식해서 배우는 동안 계속 들고 다녔었죠. 네, 물론 그 때도 옷은 치렁치렁한 옷을 입고 있더군요.
