어떠한 감정이 생기고 또 어떤 행동을 하는데 반드시 설명할 수 있는 이유가 있다? 그렇게 생각하지 않습니다. "괴짜 경제학"이라고 번역이 되었던가요? 어쨌든 그 책을 재밌게 보고 나서 모든 사안을 확률적으로 또는 오래 된 일반 상식에서 벗어 난 방향으로 생각해 보는 경향이 강해졌습니다. 길게 말씀드렸지만 설명하기 어려운 감정과 행동도 있다고 봅니다. 애써 갖다 붙이자면 좀 전에 거리에서 아랍사람처럼 보이는 한 아저씨가 아코디온을 연주하면서 너무 슬픈 곡조의 노래를 하는 것을 지나치며 듣다가 자동적으로 주머니에서 돈을 찾는 자신을 보고 흠칫 놀란 것이 이유라면 이유일까요? 그렇다고 하더라도 이 노래와는 관계 없잖아요?
내용은 소위 느끼할 수 있는 노래이지만 제게는 그렇게 안 들리고 괜히 진짜 영웅이 되어 줄 거라고 생각이 드네요.
