계기야 사람들마다 다르겠죠. 먹고 사는 일이 너무 힘들게 느껴지거나, 어떤 관계이든 다 고장나 있고 고칠 수 없는 것으로 느껴지는 때이든 다양할 거라고 생각합니다. 계기든 시기든 관계 없고 나이가 몇 살이고 지금 하고 있는 일이 얼마나 오래한 일이든 그런 일상적으로 중요한 것들이 중요하게 느껴지지 않고, 그저 그냥 이건 아니라고 생각이 드는 겁니다. 내가 해야할 일은 이게 아닌데, 나의 삶은 이렇게 살려고 하는 게 아니였음이 너무나 분명하게 느껴지는 거죠. 무슨 대안이 명백하게 있을 수도 있겠지만 발생 확율적으로 볼 때는 그저 지금까지의 것이 잘못 되었다는 생각이 너무 커서 내일부터 확실히 바꾸지 않으면 안 되겠다는 생각이 드는 겁니다.
그런 일이 없으셨다고요? 너무 다행입니다. 세상 사는 것이 문제풀이처럼 책 뒤로 가면 정답이 있는 게 아니잖아요? 우리 인생의 앞의 부분, 특히 학교에서 보내는 많은 세월들이 정답이 있는 문제를 푸는 것에 너무 많은 시간에 쓰여지다 보니, 학교 생활을 끝내고 한참을 보내도 정답이 없는 문제를 보면 화부터 나고 받아들이기가 어렵죠. 그러나 정답이 없다고 봅니다. 인생에, 나의 삶에 정답이 있다고요? 아니라고 봅니다. 물론 제 주장에 동의하지 않으시는 분들도 많으리라고 생각합니다. 당연하다고 생각하고요. 제 주장은 정답이 아니라고 치고요, 삶에 너무 두려움을 갖지 않고 살아보는 건 어떨까 하고 제안하려고요.
