심신이 피곤하실 때 들으시면 - The Weary Kind by Ryan Bingham

며칠 전에 아카데미 수상식에서 남우 주연상을 받았던 Jeff Bridges의 영화 "Crazy Heart"에 나오는 노래인데요. 저는 어제인가 철수 형님 방송에서 듣고 꼭 다시 들어야겠다고 생각했습니다. 목소리만 듣고는 Bruce Springsteen의 fatter version이 아닐까 하고 생각했지만 전혀 다르네요. Jeff Bridges나 외모상으로 비슷한 Kris Kristofferson을 머릿속으로 떠올리지 않았나 합니다. 아래에서 얼굴도 보시고 좋은 음질로 들으실 수 있습니다.

Jeff Bridges는 사실 지금까지 좋은 연기 많이 보여줬는데 상 받고 인정받고 하는 게 좀 늦지 않았나 하는 생각입니다.

저는 미국의 남부나 다른 지역의 시골로 조금 깊게 들어 가면 영어를 못 알아 듣겠더군요. 발음이 다른 것은 물론이고 제가 듣기에는 문법상으로 전혀 틀리다고 배운 표현들을 많이 쓰기 때문이 아닌가 합니다. 외국인인 제가 미국사람이 영어 틀리게 쓴다고 지적하는 건 좀 웃긴 일이지만요. 이 노래의 가사도 무슨 얘기인지는 알겠지만 한 줄 한 줄 설명은 못 드리네요. 컨트리 음악도 들을 만 하죠?
