명반으로 부르지는 않겠지만 - Blood Stained Love Story by Saliva

명반이라고 부르려고 하니까 철수형님이 100장만 선정했던 것이 생각나서 나중에 숫자에 제한을 받지 않을까 해서요.

라디오를 듣다 보면 저를 제외한 많은 분들은 음악 보다 얘기 듣는 것을 훨씬 좋아한다는 생각이 듭니다. 저는 당연히 좋은 음악만 쭉 듣고 간단히 소개만 해 주는 것을 좋아하죠. 미국에 가서 차를 빌려서 타고 다니면서 라디오를 들어 보면 장르 별로 한 종류 음악만을 들려 주는 방송을 쉽게 접하게 됩니다. 당연히 country music 방송국이 제일 많고요 rock radio도 많습니다. 미국 rock radio에서 쉽게 들을 수 있는 분위기의 노래를 많이 들려주는 band입니다. 제가 가지고 있는 선입관 중의 하나가, 영국의 band는 복장도 멋지게 하고 좀 퇴폐적이고 미국의 band는 덩치가 크고 옷은 그저 T-shirt에 청바지만 입고 있을 거라는 겁니다. 특히 미국 남부 출신의 band인 경우 이런 제 생각이 맞는 경우가 많죠. 네, 저는 미국 남부를 아주 좋아합니다. Southern Hospitality라는 말도 좋고요. 저랑 제일 친한 친구 부부가 살고 있어서 그런 거겠죠. 이 band의 다른 album도 친구 와이프분하고 많이 공유했습니다. 아저씨는 저하고 취향이 좀 달라서요.

앨범 제목은 좀 퇴폐적으로 지었네요. 그 안에 있는 'Here with you'라는 노래입니다.

같은 album에 있는 'Never gonna change'라는 노래입니다. 상대방이 좋은 쪽으로 전혀 바뀌지 않을 거지만 떠나지 못 하고 괴로워 하고 있는 상황이네요.
