하는 일의 일부가 미래에 대해 감히 예측을 하는 일이라 뭐라고 또 말도 안 되는 얘기를 하나 하고 여기 저기를 뒤져 보는 편입니다. 어디선가 줏어 들은 얘기를 가지고 올 한 해가 얼마나 어려울 건지 또 한국에 앞으로 '잃어버린 10년'이 올 수 밖에 없는지 떠들고 앉아 있는 자신을 보고 있습니다. 그냥 옛날이 좋았다는 것이 아니고 숫자 또는 통계로 보아도 제가 사회 초년병이던 시절이 지금보다는 여러 가지로 틈이 많았고 먹고 사는 걱정 안 해도 별 큰 지장이 없는 세상이였다고 생각합니다. 올해는 한국에도 그리고 많은 다른 나라에서도 선거가 있습니다. 녹녹치 않은 현재, 암울해 보이는 미래를 조금이라도 바꿀 수 있는 분들이 나와서 걱정 조금 덜 해도 되는 세상을 가져 오기를 진심으로 소망합니다.
