휴가 시즌인데요. 얼마만큼을 일하고 나서 정기적인 휴식을 가져야 하는지 과학적인 연구도 많이 있게지만, 사람들은 주변에 있는 사람들을 안 쳐다 볼 수 없기 때문에 옆에 있는 사람들이 쉬러 가면 나도 쉬어야지 하고 생각하지 않나 합니다. 물론 저도 절대 예외는 아니여서 남들 쉴 때 쉬어야겠다 하는 생각을 하고 있습니다. 어쨌든 휴식은 누구에게나 필요하다고 봅니다.
가끔씩 '지겹다'는 얘기를 할 때가 있는데요. 주변 사람 또는 윗사람들의 말이나 행동이 더 이상 견디기 어렵다고 느껴지는 때가 종종 있죠. 윗분들의 잔소리 또는 충고 등등에 대해서, 가만히 말을 듣고 있는 것도 쉬운 건 아닌데요. 거기서 그치지 않고 당신들이 한 말에 대해서 제가 실행하지 않고 있는 것에 대해 지적을 받을 때는 참 괴롭죠.
이 가수들은 사회적/정치적인 가사도 종종 쓰고 언행도 하는 것으로 알고 있습니다. 그런 것 때문에 좋아하는 것이라는 생각은 들지 않고요. 자주 촌스러운 취향이라는 말은 듣지만 제가 country music 좋아하는 성향이 크게 작용하는 것이라고 생각합니다. 가사에 크게 신경 쓰지 않아도 장마중에도 가끔씩 불어주는 시원한 바람을 맞는 기분이 들 수 있습니다.
