딸들에게 잘 해 주세요 - Daughters by John Mayer

'진화하는 guitarist'는 평을 읽었습니다. 아마도 철수 형님의 책에서였던 것으로 기억합니다. 원래도 CD 발표하면 무조건 사는 artist이고 아직 젊은 나이에 자기 자신의 Fender Stratocaster 기타 모델을 가지고 있어서 대단하다고 생각하던 참이었습니다. 위의 평을 읽고 다시 제가 가지고 있던 CD들을 하나하나 발표된 연도에 따라 들어봤습니다. 물론 모든 곡을 다 들은 건 아닙니다. 제가 ID를 serious music lover로 쓰고 있긴 하지만 요즘은 그렇게 까지 시간이 있지는 못 해서요. 네, 너무 맞는 평이라고 생각했습니다. 'Eric Clapton in the making' 제가 original인지는 모르겠지만 그렇게 얘기하고 싶습니다. 제 말이든 철수 형님 말이든 John Mayer를 좀더 가깝게 느끼고 그의 음악을 사랑하게 되면 어쨌든 좋습니다.
